The consumption of coffee, for me, is a diametric battle between truth and pleasure. In that, there is a confrontation between enjoying the rich and satisfying taste of unfettered whole bean brew and the plethora of wild and tasty flavors that can be intermingled with a hot cup of java. I often find myself torn between drinking it black and inundating the experience with thick cream or various flavorings. At work, because their idea of flavoring, is a powerded chalk substance, I drink it black — but then again, their idea of coffee is ground tree bark; and at home I buy the freshest Ethiopian or Hawaiian blend, then ooze in a large amount of caramel or sugary sweetness.

There are a number of ways one can get a hold of coffee as well, from buying it, to making it, to the god awful procurement of office dreck that they say is coffee but I think is more like hot inkwater.

And, of course, the absence of having coffee, only increases the temptation and exhilaration of the next cup of coffee — for the next cup will be so much better than any that came before.

It brews one cup at a time. It’s very fast, and all you do is fill it with water and toss whatever flavored pod you want in there. They have a bazillion (I counted) different varieties.

Brenlo you ever here of this gum they sell at target ? 2 piecesofit is like a miniture energy cept with out the can and the 5dollar price tag . thats what i eat when i need apickme up

Double chocolate expresso with carmel syrup. Sure, it’s not a MAN’S drink, but I can take two and vibrate my molecules to the point where I can phase through walls.

I am actually glad that coffee is one addiction I don’t have. You guys are so picky about your coffee! =P
