EQ Movie?

Yair Landau, the esteemed and most admired Vice Chairman of SPE and President of SPDE, announced during his keynote at DICE that an EverQuest movie is in the very early stages of development (as in being talked about)

“We’re working with one of my favorite producers right now on an idea for an EverQuest movie.”

If done well, a fantasy movie set in Norrath could be a great thing and I eagerly look forward to hearing more about the project.

We can only hope that a Bixiebopper will be included.

An EQ movie…that has disaster on it as bad as the D&D movie. You can’t capture the general fantasy players progression in an hour and a half. Hell mine has been underway for years.

I been waiting for an EQ movie since the game came out,i have (i beleive)the only 2 comic book issues of everquest…which coulda been turned into movie and been entertaining
my only wish is that i could have had a part in it….possibly the half-elf druid…lol,can’t wait to see it

I have thought about an EQ movie and think it would be a great idea! But I would like to see it done as well as LOTR…by that I mean serious and mature. EQ is and always will be the best MMORPG out there…hands down. There are no comparisons. And I would LOVE to participate! Even if it meant playing an Orc ROFL
